Celebration of Butlers Wharf Riverside improvements – Saturday 17 March at Blueprint Café

On a very cold morning, we met at Blueprint Café to celebrate what we’ve been doing to improve Butlers Wharf jetty, from St Saviour’s Dock footbridge to Maggie Blake’s Cause. Warmed by our hosts’ generous hospitality, we admired the new zigzag bench installed on the recently-cleaned jetty. The bench, funded by Southwark Council’s Cleaner Greener Safer fund, is already a great attraction on the riverside pathway.

We also launched Friends of Butlers Wharf Riverside, a new initiative led by local resident Emma Sanderson-Nash.  If you are interested in getting involved, please email info@loveshadthames.org.
