Our first meeting of 2020 was hosted by The Dixon Hotel in their beautiful upstairs meeting room. We welcomed 30 stakeholders including local residents and businesses, a representative from Southwark Council and one of our North Bermondsey ward councillors. We opened with an interesting presentation from The Dixon Hotel general manager about the many community activities they engage with. We then covered a wide range of Shad Thames topics including the new restaurant Legare; Courage Yard; Shad Thames Business Network feasibility study; current street works; St Saviours Dock footbridge; Shad Thames Pumping Station; and ongoing planning matters (including Tower Bridge Court (TBC)). We also had updates from Butler’s Wharf Riverside Trust and STRA. If you’d like further information about any of the issues covered, please get in touch via the Get Involved Contact Form below.
