The Borders of Shad Thames: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly – 8 June 2019 (part of London Festival of Architecture)

A large and enthusiastic crowd joined us at The Dixon Hotel for coffee, pastries and an introduction to Shad Thames and the LFA theme of “boundaries”.  Suitably refreshed, we moved on to Tower Bridge Court (TBC) where we heard about plans for the redevelopment of this large office building spanning Tower Bridge Road and Horselydown Lane. We then visited more iconic parts of the area, including the Shad Thames warehouses and riverside, where we had an update about the Illuminated River project.  We finished at the LFA exhibition on display at Anise Gallery.
